Some animes like Digimon show over the years what has actually become of the heroes. Now another series from the RTL II era, namely Magical DoReMi, has released a video showing how the girls are doing today.
What kind of video is it? As explained by the official X account of Magical DoReMi, there was a special video sent via email for all those who purchased a ticket for the DoReMi Summer Party. The video is titled OjamajoCarnival!! Relaxed Journey Edition and shows the girls from the anime on an outing.

Right at the beginning, it becomes clear that the video takes place in the present day. Doremi is charging her phone on a charging pad that only came onto the market many years after the anime was released. In the 2 minutes, Doremi meets with her friends and together they take a detour.
While Doremi, Emily, and Sophie are sitting on the train, Nicole, Momoko, and Hana are driving by car. Unfortunately, the 3rd and 4th seasons never made it to Germany, which means that the two latter girls may not be familiar.
They visit a festival together and end up paragliding. This reminds them of the time when they flew through the air as witches on their brooms.
New video makes fans very nostalgic
How do fans react to this? In the comments under the YouTube video, several users write that they have watched the video for 2-3 hours. Under a TikTok video that also shows the mentioned clip, there are many emotional confessions.
One user writes, for example, that it makes him proud how this video makes him emotional as an adult man. Another user says he has to cry, probably out of nostalgia, while others find it nice to see what has become of the girls in adulthood.
Why do they get so emotional? Magical DoReMi first aired in Germany in 2001 on the TV channel RTL II and has likely shaped many childhoods. MeinMMO editor Jasmin also loved this anime in her childhood.
In the anime series, normal girls become witches with magical abilities. Many everyday situations are depicted in the anime, as well as special, emotional moments that are very relatable. For these reasons, the anime was well-received by the target audience.
