For several days, a leak has been circulating that includes the FUT card for Usain Bolt in FIFA 19. The sprint star could thus be playable for the first time in FIFA – if the leaked information turns out to be true.
Bolt would be the fastest player. As expected, Usain Bolt could also score points in FIFA 19 primarily with speed: The leaked card shows a Pace value of 99. This would make Bolt faster than the current top sprinters Adama Traoré and Kylian Mbappé.
Poor values for the sprint star: The other stats are significantly lower: 57 in dribbling, 40 in shooting, only 18 in defense, and 35 in passing – in footballing terms, Bolt would likely struggle, which is also reflected in the overall rating of 49.
But are the leak details even accurate?
Bolt leak can be doubted
It is highly likely a fake: In recent weeks, various leaks regarding FIFA 19 have turned out to be false, or at least inaccurate. And the Bolt leak can also be doubted.
For in the generally very reliable FIFA database Futhead, the Jamaican does not appear. There have been no official statements from EA Sports on the matter yet.
Bolt currently without a contract: The situation regarding the real Usain Bolt also raises doubts: Currently, the 32-year-old is working in Australia with the Central Coast Mariners on his professional career and has already been able to play in a friendly match.
However, it is also a fact: The former sprinter still has not received an official contract, so he is not a professional footballer. This speaks against the leak – even though Bolt made his football game debut last year as a pre-order bonus in PES 2018.
It remains to be seen whether official information on Bolt in FIFA 19 will be released soon. By the time of the release, it should be clear whether you can control the Jamaican icon in the game.
