While many players are currently having fun in Throne and Liberty, this is the perfect moment to start with Lost Ark. The MMORPG offers new servers and many bonuses for your start.
Which MMORPG is it about? While Throne and Liberty is being celebrated by many, there is also criticism of the new MMORPG against the new MMORPG. However, those who are not able to connect with the game might find their fortune in Lost Ark.
The MMORPG from the same publisher will launch its so-called Start Assistance servers on October 9, which are perfect for new players and returning players.

Start Assistance for New Players
What are the Start Assistance servers? The Start Assistance server aims to provide new players and returnees with an easy entry into the MMORPG. The servers offer a range of events as well as an altered experience to help players reach item level 1620 as easily as possible.
In Lost Ark, it’s all about improving your character. The higher your gear score, the more raids you can do. With a gear score of 1620, you are already far advanced and can tackle many of the new content with ease.
Overall, you can create 6 characters on the Start Assistance servers. However, only one can later move to the “real” server. The Start Assistance servers will only be active for 7 weeks. However, the developers say that as an active player, you will need only a few weeks to reach item level 1620.
To achieve this, the servers offer a variety of bonuses. For item level 1540–1580:
- Increase of upgrade rate: by 300%
- Increase of craftsman energy: by 200%
- Discount on equipment upgrades: 80% on fragments and silver
- Additional enhancement materials: 80% discount on jump stones, fragments, protection/devastation stones and Oreha materials
- Required gold for upgrades: 100% discount
For item level 1580–1620:
- Increase of upgrade rate: by 300%
- Increase of craftsman energy: by 200%
- Discount on equipment upgrades: 50% on fragments and silver
- Additional enhancement materials: 50% discount on jump stones, fragments, protection/devastation stones and Oreha materials
- Required gold for upgrades: 80% discount
Will anything change with the raids? Yes, some raids will also become easier. In normal and solo mode, the change in difficulty affects the raids Brelshaza, Akkan, Thaemine, Kayangel, and the Ivory Tower. The developers justify this by saying that players should focus on learning new content together.
What happens when you’re finished? Those who complete the new Start Assistance server with their character and reach item level 1620 can transfer it to the normal server. However, the transfer is only possible for one character. Those who do not have a character on a “real” server can transfer their roster information alongside their character from the Start Assistance server.
However, those who transfer their character will lose some items, likely to prevent the abuse of the servers. The developers note the following on their website (via playlostark.com):
- Players must leave their guild before the transfer.
- All items of the character will be transferred to the universal storage of the target server.
- Only one character can be transferred; all others will be deleted.
- Items with drop limits or abuse risks will be deleted.
- Trade materials, gold and silver will not be transferred; instead, there is a transfer gift.
- Important or non-recoverable items will be sent to the universal storage via the “preservation function”.
Those who manage to gear up their character quickly on the Start Assistance servers might even be ready in time for the launch of the new Kazeros raid. Starting October 23, two portals await you there. In the first, you will battle against Akkan and in the second against Aegir.
