What kind of event is this? The Spotlight Hour is a short event that takes place every Tuesday. In the event, you will find at least one featured monster, as well as an active bonus.
The upcoming Spotlight Hour on November 4, 2025, features Weedle, the Bug/Poison-type Pokémon from Generation 1, which can evolve into Kakuna and then into Beedrill.
Spotlight Hour on November 4, 2025 – Start and Bonuses
When does the Spotlight Hour start? As usual, the event starts at 6:00 PM. After 60 minutes, it ends again at 7:00 PM.
What bonus is active? If you send monsters to the professor during this Spotlight Hour, you will receive double the candies for it.
Can you catch Shiny Weedle? Yes, you can also obtain the Shiny version of Weedle in the event with a bit of luck. However, the chance is not increased.
Is the Spotlight Hour worth it? Both Weedle and its evolutions are not strong attackers. Beedrill, however, has a Mega Evolution that represents a solid Bug-type attacker.
For the battle leagues, you should ideally not use any of the 3 monsters and rely on other monsters instead.
The bonus of the event can be interesting for you if your Pokémon bag is full and you need to sort it out. If you tag the monsters in advance, you can send them quickly during the Spotlight Hour.
