Ironsight (PC) is a Free2Play online shooter like Call of Duty. If you want to test the game for free, you will soon have the opportunity in the upcoming Open Beta.
The Free2Play shooter Ironsight takes place in the year 2025. There is a global conflict over the dwindling resources of Earth. The game offers you:
- 10 maps by the release date
- Over 100 weapons and accessories with plenty of variations
- Strategically deployable drones
- Character editor for your hero
- Clan support
- Destructible environment thanks to proprietary Iron Engine
The battles take place in the style of Call of Duty and revolve around fast-paced skirmishes between players. In game modes like “Team Deathmatch” or “Capture the Flag” you shoot each other and unlock better equipment or organize strategic features like a cluster bomb drop.
Also cool: There is a coop mode where you compete against AI.
Open Beta Test in February
If you want to try Ironsight on PC, you don’t have to wait long. The open beta of the online shooter starts on February 1, 2018. Those who have purchased a Founder Package can even start a little earlier. For founders, the beta begins on January 30, 2018.
The Open Beta will not have all the features of the release version yet. However, there will be 4 new maps compared to the previous beta. Additionally, there will be a new mission and another game mode.
Much feedback has been evaluated from the previous closed betas of Ironsight and a lot of bugs and errors have been fixed.
So far, Ironsight has only been running in South Korea. It is expected to be released for PC in Germany in the first quarter of 2018.
