inZOI transfers your face into the game and you can try the alternative to Sims as early as tomorrow

With inZOI, The Sims finally has serious competition on Steam, and you can try it out starting tomorrow until the end of the gamescom.

What kind of game is this? The new game inZOI is a life simulation from the Korean developer studio Krafton and is scheduled to be released in 2024. The game will be available on Steam, but there is no exact release date yet.

The life simulation features a large walkable open world, a lot of details, and an extensive character editor. Graphically, the game also looks excellent and utilizes the Unreal Engine 5.

A new trailer that could announce the release date will be shown tonight at the Opening Night Live. What is already certain is that you will be able to try the game out starting tomorrow.

Character editor available starting tomorrow

What kind of test is this? Starting tomorrow, August 21, until August 26, you can try the character editor of inZOI. The extensive character editor offers a lot of content and many options to create your dream characters.

Even though the game will not be playable on August 26, you will be able to save all characters and use them when the game is released. The character editor will be available on Steam.

Another feature of inZOI related to characters has already been tested by the first content creators.

What kind of feature is this? In inZOI, you can easily transfer your facial expressions and essentially everything you do with your face into the game. You only need an app on your smartphone that functions as a kind of facial scanner. The content creator anormaldisaster demonstrates this in a recent video on Tiktok.

Once you’ve connected the app to your game, you can just start talking and reacting. Your character in the game will mimic you and express the same emotions and expressions as you do in real life.

So when you speak in real life, your character in the game will also speak. So far, this feature is purely visual, but it’s also conceivable that more options will come in the future.
