As part of the gamescom Opening Night Live, inZOI has released a new trailer that once again proves how realistic the game looks.
What kind of game is this? inZOI is a life simulation from the Korean developer studio Krafton and is set to be released in 2024. The game will be available on Steam, but does not have an exact release date yet. The trailer shown at the gamescom Opening Night live only revealed the date for testing the character editor.
Here you can watch the new trailer for inZOI:
Real competition for The Sims thanks to realism
What makes the game special? While The Sims takes a more playful comic look, inZOI takes a different route. The life simulation focuses on realism, which affects not only the graphics but also the gameplay.
Included is a massive open world with many details. This can also be customized and designed by the players themselves. With their own car or on foot, characters can explore their city and engage in activities such as having conversations in the park, fishing at the harbor, or sitting around a campfire at the beach playing guitar with friends.
With the car, you can not only get from A to B; the trailer shows that you can even receive a parking ticket for parking in a no-parking zone, and there will also be accidents with other road users.
What can the characters do? The emotions of the characters are also depicted in a significant way. They even argue quite vigorously at times. But when it comes to love, the life simulation does not hold back. Your characters can get married, complete with a wedding party, and of course, they can also raise offspring.
At home, you can engage in typical activities you probably already know from the genre classic The Sims. Gardening, cooking, grilling, and putting out a kitchen fire will likely be possible in inZOI.
When can you play inZOI? So far, there is no known release date for inZOI, but you can try out the game’s character editor between August 21 and August 26.
Again, the game focuses on realism. When creating your characters, there are almost no limits, and a realistic clone of yourself should be possible. Another feature that makes the game even more realistic is a kind of face morph that ensures that your facial expressions are transferred into the game: inZOI transfers your face into the game, and you can try out the alternative to The Sims as early as tomorrow
