The intro of the new Marvel series ‘Secret Invasion’ was created by an AI. The executive producer talks about the work of artificial intelligence. The community reacts divided.
What is Secret Invasion? The new series in the Marvel Cinematic Universe will revolve around Nick Fury. He, along with Talos, is on the trail of a secret invasion by radical Skrull aliens. Not an easy task, considering that the Skrulls are shapeshifters.
Recently, the executive producer of the series explained why the intro was created by artificial intelligence and why he found it so fascinating.

In an interview with the American entertainment website Polygon, director and executive producer Ali Selim said that the intro of the series was created with the help of artificial intelligence.
They hired Method Studios to work on the intro, which they did using AI.
Selim stated that he does not really understand how artificial intelligence works, like many others do. However, he was fascinated by how AI captured the feeling they wanted to create for the series.
We talked with them [the team] about ideas, themes, and words, and then the computer got to work and implemented something. And then we could change it a bit by using words, and it changed.

As a reason for using AI, he explained that it would fit very well with the theme of the shape-shifting aliens in the series who disguise themselves as humans.
