Intel has introduced a new graphics card out of nowhere. The manufacturer aims to target gamers who are using Full HD.
The manufacturer Intel has been offering graphics cards alongside processors for a few months now. They have unexpectedly showcased a new graphics card: The Intel Arc A580. What can the graphics card do? MeinMMO presents you with the first information and details about the new graphics card.

What can the graphics card do? Intel itself presents the graphics card as a product that aims to provide smooth Full HD gameplay. They use examples like Baldur’s Gate, Diablo 4, or Cyberpunk 2077:
- In Cyberpunk 2077, the graphics card is said to achieve 85 FPS with activated upscaling technology.
- Baldur’s Gate 3 is expected to run natively at 90 FPS.
- In Diablo 4, Intel’s Arc A580 is expected to achieve an impressive 155 FPS.
With Xᵉ Super Sampling, they also carry an upscaler similar to what AMD and Nvidia have been offering to gamers for a while: A low resolution is calculated and then upscaled to the actual resolution.
When will the graphics card be available? Intel’s new A580 is supposed to be available starting today. Intel is reportedly not selling a model themselves but mentions three suppliers: ASRock, GUNNIR, and Sparkle. The prices are expected to start at 180 Euros. This puts it on par with a GeForce RTX 3050 or a Radeon RX 6500 XT.
What could be a drawback? Intel wants to deliver its new Arc A580 with only 8 GB of video memory. This could become quite limiting in the long run. Because 8 GB of video memory is no longer considered future-proof, as games increasingly require more video memory.
