How many beta tests will there be? According to Tom Henderson, there will be two beta tests for Battlefield 6: a closed beta and a few days later, an open beta.
When is the closed beta? The closed beta of Battlefield 6 is set to start on August 7, 2025, and according to Tom Henderson’s sources, will end a day later on August 8, 2025. This is the first beta you can play for Battlefield 6.
When is the open beta? The open beta starts on August 9, 2025, directly following the closed beta and will be playable until August 10, 2025.
How can you participate in the beta? On July 31, 2025, at 8:30 PM, the big multiplayer reveal for Battlefield 6 will take place. Electronic Arts will then give you a first look at the online mode of the shooter. You can watch the large-scale show on the Battlefield channels on Twitch and YouTube.
Afterward, various content creators will be able to play and livestream Battlefield 6. According to Tom Henderson, you will have the chance to receive a closed beta access as a Twitch drop during these streams.

How to receive beta access via Twitch Drop
How do you get a Twitch drop? You typically receive Twitch drops by linking your Twitch account with the respective developer’s, publisher’s, or game’s account – in this case probably Electronic Arts/Battlefield – and then watching selected channels on Twitch. Often, you need to watch a specific channel for a set duration at a certain time.
