What is the Berserker? The Berserker is a damage specialization of the warrior. With a massive two-handed sword, he swings even harder and primarily uses skills to decimate large hordes of enemies. He can spin wildly and chop down multiple enemies at once.
Alternatively, he can use the skill Hellblade to create fiery fissures in the ground that continuously wound enemies and eventually blow them away. He also has various skills that allow the Berserker to send energy waves with his sword, hitting enemies at close range.
If you like to clear out large numbers of small enemies, the Berserker is ideal.
What is the Gunlancer? Here, you trade your weaponry for a large shield and a type of cannon with a massive bayonet.
With this, you can shoot from medium range and still perform deadly melee attacks.
This subclass is no longer purely a melee fighter and has various skills for crowd control. So, if you enjoy tactical gameplay, this subclass is for you.
What is the Paladin? The Paladin, on the other hand, has a rather small sword, but he can support the group with buffs and blessings that act as an aura even on their own. Additionally, the Paladin can unleash the power of the gods in epic explosions.
If you enjoy supporting your group and still want to polish off plenty of enemies, then the Paladin is your choice.
