What doesn’t one do for a good cause? Like hunting dragons. In the MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online, a charity event is taking place where you embark on a dragon hunt.
What kind of event has started? By freeing the land of Elsweyr from its dragon problem, you support two animal welfare organizations starting from October 3rd in the #SlayDragonsSaveCats event.
Kill to Donate
What is your task during the event? It’s basically about hunting dragons. For every five dragons slain, Zenimax donates $1 for a good cause, up to a maximum of $200,000. The money goes to Best Friends Animal Society (for the USA) and FOUR PAWS (for Europe).
What is the duration of the event? You can start tomorrow, October 3rd. The hunt lasts until December 9th.
Where can you find the dragons? You can find the drakes in both southern and northern Elsweyr as well as in the dungeon “Hoard of Maarselok” of the Scalebreaker DLC. The dragons in the trial Sunspire also count.
Grab Your Rewards
What do you get out of this? Apart from Zenimax donating to animal welfare organizations, you can also earn rewards. During the event, some interesting happenings are taking place:
- Dragon Rise (from October 3rd to October 13th) – Complete the achievement “Pathfinder of Northern Elsweyr” to unlock new collectibles for all Elsweyr owners.
- Witches’ Festival (from October 24th to November 3rd) – During the Halloween event, you will complete new quests to earn rewards.
- Revelries of the Undaunted (from November 14th to November 17th) – In the dungeons of ESO, you will find new reward boxes.
- Dawn of the Dragon Guard (from November 26th to December 8th) – Fight dragons to earn more loot and double rewards.
- New Year’s Festival (from December 19th, 2019 to January 1st, 2020) – Participate in new quests featuring plenty of mud balls.
Additionally, the “Season of the Dragon” sweepstakes is currently running until January 5th, 2020. Entry rules can be found on the ESO website. Prizes include a dragon head trophy, homes, mounts, and companions, as well as “Elsweyr” t-shirts, crown packs, crown crates, and more.
So get ready to hunt dragons in ESO. The cats in the real world will thank you.
