The third chapter of the current Hearthstone expansion is live. New boss fights await and, above all, two new heroes to play with.
Since last night (23.05), the third chapter of “The Great Heist” is accessible in Hearthstone. This is the solo adventure of the current expansion “Conspiracy of Shadows“. It entices with two new heroes, numerous new boss fights, and three card packs upon completing the chapter.
Two new “heroes” await: Part of the chapter are also two new playable heroes or rather minions, as they are called. The priest Kriziki and the rogue Captain Eudora are playable in both the new and the old chapters. In addition to their usual hero abilities, you can unlock two additional abilities for the characters.
Kriziki (Priest) learns:
- Distort – Swaps the attack and health of a minion (2 Mana).
- Pacify – Grants a minion -2 attack until your next turn (1 Mana).
Captain Eudora learns:
- Mine! – Draw a random card from another class into your hand.
- Saber Slash – Deals 2 damage to an undamaged minion.
Familiar pattern, new bosses: Apart from the new characters, the third chapter operates as the previous ones did. A total of 8 bosses must be defeated in a row to successfully complete the chapter. The bosses are randomly selected, ensuring that each “run” feels different from the previous one.
The opponents are known NPCs from World of Warcraft who live in the streets of Dalaran. These are special “heroes” of certain classes, but also merchants and scoundrels who wreak havoc there and are now defending the city against you.
What is the cost of the chapter? Like the previous chapter, “The Streets of Dalaran” costs either 700 gold pieces or €7. Alternatively, the entire adventure can also be purchased for €20, saving about €8.
