We have 8 minutes of gameplay from Strange Brigade (PS4, Xbox One, PC). The release is expected soon. Strange Brigade is a coop shooter that resembles Left 4 Dead but has a more relaxed atmosphere.
Strange Brigade takes you back to the 1930s. Players take on the role of – let’s call them – a group of “exceptional gentlemen”, a secret group of extraordinary agents fighting for the British government.
In Strange Brigade, they battle undead and magical beings, traveling the world – just as one would have done in the 1930s. They face mummies, zombies, and a huge minotaur.

Gameplay Video for Strange Brigade
Strange Brigade is described as a mix of “Left 4 Dead” and “Killing Floor”, more exaggerated and silly rather than genuinely creepy, with an atmosphere that one can cut with a knife.
The environment plays a significant role in the gameplay of Strange Brigade, allowing players to use traps. There are also “light puzzles to solve,” as it is said, and players can upgrade their equipment at workbenches.
Here are 8 minutes of commented gameplay from E3. The commentary is by lead artist Andy Pattinson and chief creative Tim Jones.
