Team Rocket in Pokémon GO: Now you can wear the villains’ outfits when you take over gyms.
Trainers have been waiting for new Team Rocket-style outfits for a long time. This team is known from the early anime series and usually started their appearances in the series with the phrase “Now there’s trouble – and it’s going to get tougher …”
Now the developers are fulfilling this wish and presenting the new outfit collection in the game. From the hat to the boots, you can dress in Team Rocket or Rainbow Rocket style. However, you will have to dig deep into your pockets for this.
Team Rocket Outfits – Prices
The outfits consist of:
- Team Rocket Hat (100 coins)
- Team Rocket and Rainbow Rocket Shirt (400 coins)
- Team Rocket Gloves (50 coins)
- Team Rocket and Rainbow Rocket Belt (100 coins) – Belt category available only for female characters
- Team Rocket Pants/Skirt (100 coins)
- Team Rocket and Rainbow Rocket Boots (200 coins)
For the complete outfit with Team Rocket name, you will pay 950 coins – which is about €10. These changes are generating a lot of discussions in the community.
“Outfits look good, but are too expensive”
The look of the new outfits is bringing joy among trainers. Finally, there would be more variety in clothing in the game, as mentioned on social media.
Others jokingly demand that spoofers should wear these Team Rocket outfits so they can be recognized. After all, Team Rocket is a criminal organization that has appeared in the anime and other editions and caused trouble. Spoofers have a similarly bad reputation in the Pokémon GO community.
Trainers are less satisfied with the price of the outfits. Many find it too high. After all, the clothing doesn’t provide any gameplay advantage, but only serves aesthetic purposes.
