In Helldivers 2, the brave soldiers of the Over-Earth have come one step closer to their Democratic Space Station (DSS). However, some are less thrilled about the fulfilled general order and more excited about the well-deserved break.
What have the Helldivers achieved? The Helldivers have come one step closer to their plan. For about a month, players have been working to build the Democratic Space Station, or DSS. To do this, players must follow and successfully complete various general orders.
The last order was to free the planet Claorell from the robots. As a result, the Helldivers received a new alloy needed for the space station to perform faster-than-light jumps through space.
However, not all Helldivers are just pleased about the new alloy. Another thing brings even more joy to some of them.
In Helldivers 2, there are always new DLCs that bring interesting weapons, for example:
The Break is an Even Greater Reward
What brings even greater joy to the players? Players are especially happy about a break from fighting against the robots. The opponents are unpopular among many players due to their long-range attacks and sometimes unfair precision.
For the general order, many players, who are usually only found dealing with the bugs, are switching over to the robots. Their joy is particularly great because they can now return to their favorite enemies, the bugs.
These are considered easier by many Helldivers. Additionally, the general orders involving the bugs are often completed more quickly.
What do players say about their success? Players are of course happy, but also about the break. On Reddit, many are relieved that fighting the robots is over for now.
SubtleTactician writes on Reddit: “I know it’s the right step to go to Lesath, but I need a break from the bots. Moving to Pandion for a change of scenery…”
Also, LilMissImperfect is relieved on Reddit: “I understand you. I played all 4 of the last bot planets that needed to be freed for the big missions, and I need a break. It’s time to bring democracy and freedom to those communist bugs!”
21Bananas is also considering a vacation on a bug planet on Reddit: “I’m taking a vacation on Pandeon before I return to take over Lesath.”
The fact that Helldivers talk about vacation when it comes to bug planets shows again how little players like the fight against the Automatons faction. Building the space station will be a demanding project; you can learn more about it here: The gigantic space station in Helldivers 2 will be a powerful weapon of democracy, but for that, you need to put in some real effort.
