After the two expansions Conspiracy of Shadows and Saviors of Uldum, the League of Shadows aims to resurrect Galakrond in Legacy of the Dragons. With his help, the League of Shadows wants to destroy Azeroth.

New Hero Card – Galakrond: All five classes of the League of Shadows can play Galakrond. When playing Galakrond, he takes the form of the respective class with a special battle cry and unique hero ability. Your hero is replaced by Galakrond.
A special role here is played by the keyword “Invoke”.
New Mechanic – Invoke: The new keyword is “Invoke”. Cards with the keyword “Invoke” trigger Galakrond’s hero ability. The more cards with this keyword are played, the more powerful Galakrond becomes.
Conclusion of the Story: The add-on Legacy of the Dragons concludes the Year of the Dragon and thus the story surrounding the League of Shadows and the League of Explorers. With the next expansion in 2020, the next year in Hearthstone will likely begin.
This is the new game mode for Hearthstone
Hearthstone Battlegrounds: Blizzard has introduced a completely new game mode for Hearthstone: Battlegrounds.
In this game mode, you play as a known hero, recruit minions, and compete against 7 other players for victory. The Battlegrounds game mode is reminiscent of Battle-Chess.
Who can try Battlegrounds? If you attend BlizzCon, possess the virtual BlizzCon ticket, or buy one of the pre-sale packages for Legacy of the Dragons, you can participate in an early access phase from November 5 to 11.
