Fortnite has been given an item with so much power that it is simply too strong for players – even when they use it themselves.
Which item is it? It is the “Magneto Power” gloves, which allow you to attack players, vehicles, and structures. You summon scrap projectiles that you then shoot at your target.
Magneto Power was introduced during Chapter 5 Season 3 and quickly secured a place in the current meta.

High damage and also defensively useful
What makes the item so strong? The scrap projectiles deal a high damage of 95 damage points to players, 415 points to cars, and also push the vehicles back, as well as 85 damage to structures.
The gloves are also useful defensively: You can deploy a shield that has 400 hit points and protects you from projectiles and cars. If you block a car with the shield, it will even be pushed back.
The item also grants you low gravity when equipped. This allows you to jump higher and float, giving you a view of your surroundings while shooting large scrap chunks.
“Requires no skill to use”
What do players say about the item? Many players are annoyed by the power of the item. They complain that there are no counters and that the weapon requires no skill. It has reached the point where they hate dominating lobbies with this item, and some even say it’s the worst Fortnite season ever.

When the Magneto Power is not enough
Is there an upgrade? Yes, the combination of Magneto Power and the Nitro Fists takes it up a notch. The Nitro Fists give you incredible mobility and allow you to dash quickly.
This is incredibly strong in combination with the punching power and the floating of the Magneto Power – especially in the endgame when the zone gets smaller, as the gloves are strongest at medium to close range.
If you want to use both Magneto Power and the Nitro Fists during a match, you need to have both items in your inventory. You can then easily switch between them with the press of a button. Simultaneous use is not possible.
The “Magneto Power” gloves are really strong. But the Nitro Fists, which grant you special movement, have also left a lasting impression on players: Players in Fortnite can hardly win without a special item – Even the auto-users think it’s too much
