Fortnite (PC, PS4, Xbox One, iOS) received some changes in Season 4 on the map. Therefore, you can now find movie sets with green screens in some places. Players have used them for their own movies.
What happened? In the 4th Season of Fortnite, there was a comet crash that changed a lot on the map. The large craters at Dusty Depot and Risky Reels are the most noticeable new feature of the changes. Other changes to the map are less obvious. These include the new movie sets with green screens.
Movie sets that are ideal for silly fan movies
In some places in Fortnite: Battle Royale, film shoots seem to take place despite the apocalypse. Among other things, a larger movie set has been created in the Moisty Mire swamp. It also includes a green screen setup.
The ideal backdrop for replay fun: It didn’t even take a day after the start of Season 4 for some players to have fun with the green screens. Players simply stood in front of the screens and performed some funny emotes.
Then they grabbed the recording from Fortnite’s powerful new replay tool and seamlessly edited the animations into other videos thanks to the green screen.
Fortnite dances around the world
Among the fan movies, there are some funny creations to be found online. In one film, a character dances the “Pony Ride” dance and, thanks to green screen magic, is taken around the world. This includes the Gangnam Style video from South Korea, from which the dance originally came.
Another player also used a series of silly dances against bizarre real-world backgrounds.
