What is the new shotgun in Fortnite? The new weapon has been revealed in data leaks. It appears to be a type of shotgun with a drum magazine called “Drum Shotgun”.
The weapon could be a variation of a shotgun from the PvE mode Save the World (StW) and hold 20 rounds in the magazine. This is an unusually high capacity for a shotgun. In StW, it deals 63 damage per hit.
Fans have had enough of new shotguns
This is how the community reacts: Shotguns are a sensitive topic in Fortnite. Since the days of the Double Pump and especially since the removal of the standard shotgun, shotgun fans have been grumbling. The new Combat Shotgun also had to be adjusted multiple times.
However, it seems that a new shotgun is already coming into play. Fans are confused and feel a bit trolled, as the weapon appears to add salt to another wound with its drum magazine, namely the return of the controversial Drum Gun, which is mainly disliked by professionals.
