On March 20th, the Easter event “the Wonderful Egg Hunt” begins in Final Fantasy XIV with a new side quest and fresh rewards.
Special events for holidays are now a must not only in MMORPGs; even in shooters like Overwatch, you can get special costumes and more for a limited time. Final Fantasy XIV firmly stands in this tradition and spares no occasion to celebrate.
The Egg Thief is on the move again
The seasonal events in FFXIV are time-limited events that take place for specific holidays or occasions and often offer cool rewards.
Thus, “the Wonderful Egg Hunt” returns every year at Easter and starts its next round on March 20th.
This year’s quest begins in Gridania (X: 10.2 / Y: 9.4) with the NPC named Nonotta, the required level for this is 15.
As a reward, there is special Easter fireworks, a poster for the houses, and the Joker Egg as a new companion.
The event starts on 20.03.2018 at 9:00 AM and ends two weeks later on 02.04.2018 at 4:59 PM.
The rewards from the previous event in 2017, which included a mount among other things, will typically be available for purchase in the Moogle Kiosk around the same time as the start of the Wonderful Egg Hunt 2018.
