The players of Destiny 2 sometimes discuss the most absurd things. Recently, a Guardian complained on Reddit that his Warlock lost his most precious “asset”: his behind. After a lot of laughter in the post, more Guardians checked and indeed, their Warlocks also had no behind anymore.
What is up with the behinds? In the Destiny subreddit there are many quirky posts where players talk about all sorts of nonsense. In the thread “Is this a bug or has the butt really been removed” which was just a few hours old, the Guardians also first thought it was a joke or a very funny misunderstanding.
The player Karnauxx explained that his Warlock has had no behind since the Season of Opulence. He showed some pictures to illustrate his problem.
The players initially laughed and made fun of the Guardian’s “problem”. But then some Guardians checked for themselves and found that Karnauxx might be right: the Warlock behinds are gone!
When does this “bug” occur? Initially, the Guardians assumed it had something to do with the Transversive Steps, the exotic Warlock boots. With their perk “Strong Stretch Muscle”, they ensure that the character’s sprint speed is increased and the currently equipped weapon is automatically reloaded after a short sprint.
It was primarily with this leg armor that the missing behind was first noticed.

However, more players reported that this problem should occur with several, if not all, Warlock boots.
What do the players say? The post causes general laughter in the Destiny subreddit. Many players had assumed that the title of the post was a translation or spelling mistake. That the creator is actually upset about missing behinds is causing a lot of amusement.
The Guardians also come up with their own jokes. The subtitle of Destiny 2 should now be “Welcome to a world without behinds,” instead of the “Welcome to a world without light” that the shooter was promoted with before the release.
Other Guardians believe that the much sought-after wish 15 from the Last Wish raid is probably meant to wish the Warlocks their behind back. This is not the first strange theory that the Guardians have about the last remaining wish.
With an album, a player even made it clear that female Warlocks have it worse than male ones. Female Warlocks reportedly have no behind anymore, while male representatives at least still have a slight curve.
A reasonable Guardian tried to explain the disappearance of the behinds by suggesting that Bungie probably did this on purpose so that the Warlock behinds would no longer be visible through their clothing. Depending on which bathrobe the Warlocks wore, the behind of the class sometimes clipped through the clothing. In his opinion, Warlocks were simply too “thicc” before.
