In Destiny 2, the NPC “Spider” hands players a truly terrible leg armor as a reward and mocks them for it.
Who doesn’t know it, you complete a task in the game and look forward to a decent reward. Destiny 2 players are in for a surprise with a seasonal quest in Season 18.
After completing the quest, they can collect their reward from the NPC “Spider”. Here’s more info about the NPC Spider and his fate in Destiny 2.
As thanks, they receive a disappointingly bad item, which is handed over to the players with full irony. However, players on reddit are taking it with humor, as the action fits the character of the NPC.

“Enjoy your little pants”
What quest is it? The reward is given in the 2nd seasonal quest of the “Season of Plunder”, called “Sail of the Shipstealer”. Here, players visit the NPC Spider.
They can choose between 3 different engrams. Already here, Spider seems to be having fun with the player, as all three options contain the same reward.
What do players get as a reward? Players receive a green leg armor called “Field Armor Type 10”. And it’s not even good. It has just one point in mobility and otherwise no notable armor values.
Additionally, there’s a text describing how Spider is amused by the player. He chuckles after the choice of the “engrams” and says (in the English version): “Oh, my dear Guardian. I’m afraid we can’t all be winners.” In the end, he adds: “Enjoy your little pants”.

The users below take it with humor and write comments like: “HOLY SHIT, THE FIELD PLATE TYPE 10?! AND IT’S A GOD ROLL!!!” (User: M150_SOUP) or “BRUUUH, IT HAS ONE STAT. SO FAST.” (User: Tremulant887).
Who is the NPC? The NPC is “Spider”, a mysterious vendor in Destiny 2. He is known for his shady dealings and is not necessarily considered the most trustworthy character in the game.
