Deadpool is a unique superhero when it comes to his powers. In an interview, actor Ryan Reynolds revealed that he will retain one of his funniest abilities in the new film Deadpool & Wolverine. No other superhero is allowed to use this skill, even though theoretically anyone could.
What ability is it? In the Deadpool universe, the titular superhero is the only one allowed to break the fourth wall. This means that he can communicate with the audience at any time. He makes jokes, explains situations, and drives viewers crazy.
Reynolds explained that no other character in Deadpool 3 will have this ability. Director Levy revealed that there would, mistakenly, be many actors on the set of Deadpool who would assume they could break the fourth wall.
Even Hugh Jackman mistakenly believed that he could speak to the audience. He made this mistake on the very first day. And there is a special reason for that.

Special rules for Deadpool that everyone must follow
Why can only Deadpool have it? Reynolds revealed that there are special rules. If any other character were to perceive the meta aspect, it would diminish the film’s meaning:
Deadpool is the only character who has this ability to do that. If everyone did it, you wouldn’t invest so much in this character anymore. You really want to believe that the villain is a villain. You really want to believe that the character of his co-star is also real. Deadpool can undermine that – and he does – because you don’t want the audience to take him too seriously.

This ability lies solely with Deadpool himself, so he comes across as humorous as possible. Even though he now has a joint appearance with Wolverine, it is still his film. Equally funny is his loose tongue. No other Marvel hero has such a big mouth as Deadpool.
According to Reynolds, Deadpool is the one true narrator. He would feel like an idiot because he would have to explain this to every other actor.
Jackman adds that Reynolds would describe Deadpool’s brain as a half-baked omelet. Whatever he did, whether talking to Wolverine or the camera, would just be another situation where he would spew annoying nonsense. It’s just another excuse to punch him in the face.
Deadpool 3 wouldn’t have existed without Shawn Levy as the director. Reynolds asked him to take over the direction. Otherwise, he wouldn’t have wanted to make the third part. Luckily for all of us, he accepted the request: Deadpool’s actor had a condition to return for Marvel: an old colleague
