In Pokémon TCG Pocket, it is about completing your card collection. But this is no longer possible if you are too stingy.
What should you not be stingy with? For each of the 5 cards that you can draw from a pack, you earn one Pack Point each. With these points, you can then buy cards that are still missing from your collection. However, this is only possible with cards that belong to the respective booster. Points you receive from “Unbeatable Genes” can only be exchanged for cards from those packs.
MeinMMO has already explained in another article that you should not save your points. Because when the boosters disappear from the store, the associated Pack Points also expire.
But there is another reason not to be too frugal with the Pack Points. It’s better to spend them regularly to not reach the maximum.

What is the problem? When you reach the maximum number of Pack Points, you cannot open any more boosters. As a user on Reddit shares, a message appears that Pack Points must be spent before opening a new booster.
There is also a red warning triangle in the exchange menu that indicates that your Pack Points have reached their maximum.
Why is this a problem? When you open new boosters, you receive one Pack Point for each card. Thus, Pokémon TCG Pocket likely wants to ensure that old Pack Points are spent to make room for new ones.
Otherwise, players could open more boosters without realizing that they won’t receive any more Pack Points for them.
Who is this a problem for? The maximum for Pack Points is 2,500 points. You need to collect just as much if you want to buy the rarest cards in the game. Therefore, many players who are saving for the rarest cards might receive such a message.
However, if you only open the daily 2 packs, the limit will only be reached after some time. Players who invest real money in Pack Hourglasses or the Premium Pass could reach the maximum sooner.
In contrast to the Pack Points, you can hoard Pack Hourglasses without issue. With them, you can shorten the time until opening the next booster.
