The Catalan YouTuber Jordi Wild wanted to develop an action-horror game, but that has been on hold for some time. The reason for this are false expectations and a lack of communication, which have developed into a legal dispute.
Who is it about? The YouTuber Jordi Wild, real name Jorge Carrillo de Albornoz Torres, started his own YouTube channel El Rincón de Giorgio in 2013, where he mainly uploaded Let’s Plays, parodies, and reactions. His content eventually shifted more towards true crime and horror, as he had studied psychology and his interests were reflected in his channel. Currently, the channel has over 12 million subscribers (Source: YouTube).
On his second channel The Wild Project, Jordi Wild runs a podcast, where he regularly invites different guests. Here he has well over 6 million subscribers (Source: YouTube).
He wanted to release an action-horror game together with a small development studio. Originally, a demo of the game was supposed to be released in October 2024, which was never published. In recent months, the project has been very quiet, now Jordi Wild is speaking out about the game in a podcast.
The German YouTuber HandOfBlood has also ventured into game publishing, but with success. His latest game is 9 Kings:

What does Jordi Wild say now? Jordi Wild states that he cannot tell everything, as he is currently in a legal dispute regarding the game and there is a “contract issue”. At some point he wants to tell it, especially how he has felt about all of this. However, that is not possible at the moment.
The only thing he can really say is that the project is currently on hold. He had many creative ideas for the game and the developers had agreed. But then they contacted him after a few months and said that the ideas couldn’t be implemented as they were. He further states that he suspects that the developers knew from the very beginning that the ideas were not feasible.
Then he adds: “I think I didn’t choose well with whom I collaborated.” (Source: YouTube).
What’s next? Jordi Wild is not sure what to do with the project now. The YouTuber is considering whether he should implement the project with other people. People he would choose much better, as he says. He definitely needs a strong development team for that.
