How to get BT Data Gloves – Locations
This is how you obtain BT Data Gloves: These are gloves that you receive as drops from Black Tusk enemies. In other words, you need to shoot down Black Tusk and hope for luck. The Exotic is a random drop.
Confirmed sources include:
- The new main mission “Camp White Oak.” At this Black Tusk outpost, many agents have received the gloves, mainly from the boss but also from any Black Tusk units. The difficulty level can be anything.
- According to some YouTubers and English-speaking gaming sites, this mission is the only source for the gloves; however, many other agents report that they have received the gloves from random Black Tusk enemies. Thus, it can be assumed: You have a chance for the gloves wherever you can defeat Black Tusk. Users report from Potomac Event Center, Grand Washington Hotel, Bank Headquarters, Lincoln Memorial, or also Tidal Basin.
- If you play the activities on heroic difficulty, the drop chance is said to be higher.
Exotic Talents of the BT Data Gloves
These are the glove talents:
- Elemental Device: Skills that apply status effects receive +50% status effect duration and +50% skill speed.
- Energy Fusion: Whenever a status effect is triggered, the gloves become infused with this effect for 60 seconds. For the duration of the infusion, you gain +10% skill damage, +10% skill healing and repair, and +10% skill duration for each additional protocol (yellow battery) on the equipment.
- Charged Helpers: Whenever a skill is thrown, an explosion occurs 1.25 seconds later, applying the infusion status to all enemies within a 6-meter radius. Enemies affected by the infusion status take 50% more damage from your skills.
This means in practice: If you play a skill build, you can enhance it with the gloves. However, if you do not focus on strong skills, the gloves offer little benefit.
This is how you trigger the talent buffs quickly: Status effects like burns or bleeds can be triggered with multiple skills, such as with the Flamethrower or the Chem Launcher. To quickly gain the Energy Fusion buff, you can use the Flare Fly and then deploy seeker mines with the active buff.
According to initial user opinions, it is fun to experiment with the BT gloves and combine them with various skills. They probably do not represent the new meta, but they are a must for skill build enthusiasts.
