The Harvest Festival returns in 2025 to Pokémon GO. And it brings not only an increased Shiny chance but also 2 new monsters.
When does the event take place? This year’s Harvest Festival starts on Friday, October 10, 2025, at 10:00 AM. It runs until Thursday, October 16, 2025, at 8:00 PM. In addition to some monsters that fit well with the harvest theme, it also brings strong bonuses that you can benefit from.
How do I get Dipplin and Hydrapple? You can obtain the two monsters Dipplin and Hydrapple at the event for the first time. Both Pokémon are evolutions of the Apple Monster Applin. To get Dipplin, you need an Applin, 200 Candy of the monster and 20 Syrupy Apples. Sryupy Apples will be available for the first time in the game during the event.
For the evolution to Hydrapple, you need, in addition to an Applin, 400 Applin Candies. You also need to catch 7 Dragon Pokémon while having Applin as your buddy Pokémon.

Which Pokémon are there in the event? During the event, you can encounter Miltank*, Combee*, Smoliv*, and, with a bit of luck, Applin in the wild. All monsters marked with a * can also appear as Shiny.
What bonuses are there in the event? Additionally, the following bonuses are active during the event:
- double candies when using Pinap Berries and Silver Pinap Berries
- increased chance for Shiny Pumpkaboo and Shiny Smoliv
- increased chance for Apples at PokéStops with an activated Moss Lure Module
- Field Researches where you can obtain Pumpkaboo, Applin, and Smoliv
- Collector Challenges where you can receive a Moss Lure Module, Stardust, Syrupy Apples, and Applin
Event Ticket: For €5.49, you can purchase a ticket for the event. This gives you the following additional bonuses during the event:
- double duration of Moss Lure Modules
- increased chances of finding berries, also Silver Pinap Berries and Golden Razz Berries, at PokéStops
Additionally, upon purchase, you will receive a limited-time research that brings you the following rewards when you successfully complete it:
- 30 Silver Pinap Berries
- 3 Moss Lure Modules
