What is this task? Season 4 has started in Fortnite, and there is a new Battle Pass filled with Marvel superheroes. This includes “Groot” with his tree-like appearance.
His baby version “Groot Sapling” can also be found in the Battle Pass, but to unlock him, you must first reach Level 32 and complete a “Groot Sapling Awakened” challenge.
Where is Groot?
This is what you need to do: Once you reach Level 32 in the Battle Pass, you will receive a challenge to equip the Groot Sapling. You will be sent to the Fortnite map, which has changed again in Season 4.
Location on the map:
At Holly Hedges, you need to find the Groot Sapling. He is hiding in the open garden accessory area, between 3 potted plants. You can find the garden area behind the shopping center located in the middle of the town.
Once you have found him, you need to “rescue” him by interacting with Baby Groot. Only after you have completed this task can you equip the Groot Sapling as a back accessory.
Important: The Groot Sapling will only appear after you have reached Level 32 in the Battle Pass. Before that, you will only find a garden gnome among the potted plants, which you cannot interact with.
