Secret World Legends – The Cat God Strikes Back!
In The Secret World, there have been several extremely cool Halloween events that brought quest lines full of terror and fright. Unforgettable is still the gruesome Cat God and his deeds, the suicide of the allegedly immortal “Bees,” or the eerie radio messages you must follow.
Halloween thus has a tradition of extremely well-made events in the mystery MMO that are more than just silly antics!
The developers at Funcom have therefore announced a Halloween update for the re-release “Secret World Legends” in their roadmap. It promises a reunion with the Cat God—in a never-before-seen form. Additionally, there will be special events in Agartha and a reunion with Jack O’Lantern.
Currently, many players speculate whether Halloween in SWL will only contain the Cat God quests or if it will also bring back the other Halloween events from previous years. Regardless of the outcome, in the end, you will again receive cool costumes and pets. Spooky cat pets are therefore guaranteed.
The new Halloween in SWL starts on October 18.
WildStar – Trick or Treat in Housing
The colorful SciFi MMO WildStar has one of the best housing systems in the genre. Therefore, it’s no surprise that you go from house to house here, begging for sweets or threatening with something sour. Every player can set out special bowls with treats and then invite players to visit their homes. Collecting different types of candies will earn you coveted event tokens.
Tokens are also earned through cool event quests that you complete in the capital cities. For example, you throw eggs at people or perform holiday rituals. The highlight of the spooky spectacle is the eerie dungeon “Silent Hill.” There, you visit a creepy village where sinister events occur!
With all the earned tokens, you can then get cool loot such as costumes and accessories for your hoverboard.
The WildStar Halloween event starts on October 20.
Pokémon GO – New Monsters and Witch Hat Pikachu
Halloween does not spare Pokémon GO. Therefore, numerous new features and events await you in the mobile game. Suitable for the festival, there is again a special version of Pikachu. This little yellow friend is wearing a funny witch hat this time.
Images from the event also show new Pokémon from the third generation. The spooky Zorua and Shuppet could thus make their first appearance in the game this Halloween. Whether they will be the only creatures of generation 3 is still unclear.
