The access restrictions for Artanis in Heroes of the Storm have been lifted, the Protoss is now freely available.
In Unity There is Strength
The hero roster of Heroes of the Storm has expanded once again. The Protoss warrior Artanis is now finally available to all players, as long as they are willing to pay either 15,000 gold or 10 euros. Previously, the character was playable only for pre-order customers of the StarCraft 2 expansion Legacy of the Void for a week.
Artanis is thus the first warrior of the StarCraft franchise (which means that you can finally complete Starcraft hero and warrior quests simultaneously – praise be to the Overmind!) and possesses a unique ability with his Phase Prism, allowing him to swap positions with his enemy and himself.
However, he is not easy to master, as the position swap can quickly lead to your own downfall if you venture too far behind enemy lines.
