HotS: Neuer Held Alarak veröffentlicht – Hier ist das Rampenlicht-Video

The latest hero from Heroes of the Storm has been released. We show you Alarak, his abilities, and the spotlight video.

Since the night before last (09/13/2016), the red Protoss Alarak has arrived in the Nexus of Heroes of the Storm. As the leader of the Tal’darim, he commanded a large part of the Protoss in StarCraft for a long time. In Heroes of the Storm, he is now an assassin with some special tricks up his sleeve.

Let’s take a quick look at Alarak’s abilities:

• His passive ability is Sadism and automatically increases the damage he deals to enemy heroes.
• Discord Strike deals high damage in a small cone area after a short delay and silences enemy heroes.
• His most versatile ability is probably Telekinesis. This attack can be freely targeted within a large radius to either push enemies or himself in the desired direction.
• The Energy Surge hits a far-off target and additionally all enemies that are in between Alarak and the primary target. As a special bonus, Alarak is healed for a large amount based on the damage dealt.
• Alarak’s first heroic ability is Deadly Charge. Alarak needs to channel the attack for a while, but then dashes a great distance forward, dealing high damage to all enemies in his path. The longer Alarak charges the spell, the further he can charge forward.
• The second heroic ability, Counterstrike, puts Alarak in an “Immunity” state for a short time. If he is attacked during this time, he releases a shockwave afterward that deals massive damage to all nearby enemies.

Besides his abilities, Alarak has one more unique feature. As the only hero so far, he has the option to choose his second heroic ability at level 20. The extra ability is defaulted to the “D” key and gives him significantly more freedom.
