Is a real HIT coming our way? At least judging by the name chosen skillfully by the developers at NEXON and NAT Games.
HIT, actually Heroes of Incredible Tales, is a mobile RPG developed by Yong-Hyun Park, the lead designer behind the popular MMORPGs Lineage II and TERA. The game mixes single-player elements with multiplayer action and uses Unreal Engine 4 to deliver impressive graphics for a mobile game.
Tactical Battles
You start the game as one of four heroes, each with different abilities. In the single-player campaign, you will experience a story in which you have to face many monsters and bosses repeatedly. The focus is on action-packed battles where you need to strategically use your hero’s abilities and earn victory with combos, throws, jumps, counters, and ultimate abilities. Your character’s skills can be improved over time, and you will acquire more powerful equipment like new weapons and armor that you should put together perfectly.
“With HIT, we have set a new standard for mobile games and redefined player expectations,” says Yong-Hyun Park, CEO of NAT Games. “We believe that PC and console gamers will also feel right at home with HIT, thanks to its HD graphics, vibrant 3D environments, and fast and fun combat.”
Multiple Multiplayer Challenges
HIT offers not only a single-player mode but also a competitive and cooperative multiplayer experience. 3v3 battles, a PvP arena, and guild battles are included, as well as the Tower of Trials, the co-op raid mode, and daily dungeon challenges.
“HIT combines elements from popular action RPGs and hack-and-slash titles into an intuitive and innovative game,” says Lawrence Koh, General Manager at Nexon M. “Yong-Hyun Park and the NAT Games team have fully tapped into the potential of Unreal Engine 4 on mobile devices with their debut. HIT is one of the few triple-A games for iOS and Android, comparable in quality to console titles.”
