The durable Free2Play MMORPG Lord of the Rings Online is receiving a revamped system for legendary weapons, 3 new instances, 3 new regions, and a continuation of the main story with update 16.
The legendary weapons in Lord of the Rings Online are a science in themselves and are certainly among the “hallmarks” of Lord of the Rings Online. With update 16, the long-announced overhaul of the system is finally coming. The weapons will now be able to be “imbued.” They will grow stronger along with the player. There is a new interface for this on the test server and extensive changes in the details. A player from the community has summarized the most important change in update 16 for you.
This overhaul was actually supposed to happen last year, but they couldn’t make the time. Even now, it’s said that the system on the test server is not finished yet, but they wanted to show it to players now to get feedback.
Otherwise, update 16 in Lord of the Rings Online advances the main story and brings the ring a little closer to Mount Doom: In eastern Gondor, 3 new regions are opening up, 3 instances are being freshly introduced (2 for 3, 1 for 6 players) and the main quest continues.
