In Blizzard’s MOBA Heroes of the Storm comes the first character from Overwatch, Tracer.
It looks like Heroes of the Storm will soon receive a newcomer from Blizzard’s fresh lineup, from Overwatch. According to mmorpg.com referencing the US print magazine Game Informer, it should be in April. Then Tracer will come to the Nexus.
She was part of Pre-Order Perks. However, it is said that it will also be possible to acquire her for gold or real money.
Apparently, Tracer will be a mobile ranged assassin with variable skill options. Her HotS version is expected to be based on the fast-firing speedster from Overwatch.
Tracer is somewhat of a “cover girl” for Overwatch, often appearing in game trailers or other promotional materials. It seems that Blizzard has chosen her as the face of their marketing. Perhaps her HotS release will coincide with the Overwatch release. Utilizing such synergy effects seems to be Blizzard’s style.
