The latest hero from Heroes of the Storm is known. The Scarlet Fanatic Sally Whitemane from WoW enters the Nexus!
Blizzard has announced the latest hero for Heroes of the Storm. In German, the new heroine is called Weißsträhne. This may not mean much to many, but the English original “Whitemane” will likely resonate with many WoW fans.
We will reveal to you what the scarlet priestess is capable of in Heroes of the Storm.
Sally Whitemane’s Abilities in Heroes of the Storm
- Her passive trait is Zeal. When Whitemane heals allies, they are temporarily affected by Zeal. Zeal ensures that this ally is healed when Whitemane deals damage with her abilities.
- Desperate Plea is her first ability. Whitemane heals an ally and applies Zeal. The ability has virtually no cooldown but grants Whitemane stacks of Desperation for a few seconds. Each stack of Desperation increases the mana cost of Desperate Plea.
- Inquisition is Whitemane’s second spell. She targets an enemy and channels damage onto that opponent for a few seconds while slowing them down.
- Burning Lash targets a small area and deals damage there after a short delay. If the spell hits an enemy hero, it is cast a second time at the same location.
- Her first heroic ability is Scarlet Aegis. Whitemane heals all allies in the vicinity, grants them Zeal, and simultaneously provides 40 armor for a few seconds.
- The second heroic ability is Divine Reckoning. Whitemane summons holy energy in a large area after a short delay. All enemies in the area take damage as long as they remain there.
Who is Sally Whitemane? Veterans from World of Warcraft may remember Whitemane, as she is a boss in the Scarlet Monastery – a fanatical priestess.
She, along with the entire Scarlet Crusade, are fanatics of the Light who want to rid Azeroth of all “evil.” What initially targeted only undead and demons later also included sinners, leading the Crusade astray.
In Legion, Whitemane was then killed and resurrected by the Death Knights as one of the Four Horsemen. Aside from that, Sally Whitemane has always been a popular motif for cosplays and – how could it be otherwise – erotic fan art. Google at your own risk.
But who wouldn’t want to be cleansed by her, right?
