Stay a while and listen! – Deckard Cain from Diablo could be the next hero in Heroes of the Storm.
The release of D.Va in the Nexus of Heroes of the Storm has been a while, so it is slowly time to think about the next addition. Through the official Twitter channel, the developers have now released a small teaser: three candles burning in a dusty cathedral. True Blizzard fans will immediately notice some parallels, as the candles strongly resemble a place from the cinematics of Diablo 3.
There was a similar scene with many candles, where Deckard Cain and Leah can be seen studying ancient texts.
Most players know Deckard Cain from Diablo 2. Here you could use his Horadric Cube to combine certain items and obtain new, better items (or to enter the secret cow level).
Spoiler warning for everyone who hasn’t played Diablo 3 yet!
Leah is Cain’s niece and is controlled by Diablo in the course of the story, acting as a host for his body. In Heroes of the Storm, the “Prime Evil” Diablo skin already has a voice line hinting at Leah. If we had to bet, we would likely place our gold on Leah.
Though it would also be pretty cool to be able to play a Deckard Cain with his Horadric Cube… so it remains exciting.
