The latest patch for Heroes of the Storm is coming – it will bring not only the new hero Lt. Morales but also polished animations and some balancing changes.
Is it also available in beautiful?
Lt. Morales is just one of the new features coming our way with the upcoming patch in Heroes of the Storm. Especially the appearance of some heroes and their abilities is getting a significant facelift: Many characters will receive new animations or improved physics reactions. Above all, Jaina’s Water Elemental and the Living Bomb as well as gravity loss from Kael’thas look significantly better. You can find an overview of all visual improvements in this video:
Kleiner, Tyrande and Diablo will be buffed
The undead warrior Kleiner has undergone numerous talent changes. Many have been removed without replacement, but many others have been improved. Stitches now has more health than before (570 more in total at level 20) and can use Devour more frequently (which heals more due to increased health).
The High Priestess of Elune Tyrande is thrilled about improved healing performance. Her heroic ability Shadow Mimic no longer reveals enemy heroes, instead it places a HoT on all allies and heals them again at the end of the duration for a significant amount. Although her healing performance is still behind other supporters, she can compensate for this through damage dealt.
Diablo long lived up to his reputation as a “gank warrior,” but has been gradually weakened in past patches. Now the developers are reversing course and restoring his former strength. All basic abilities deal a little more damage and Shadow Strike has a 15% longer range. The passive ability Black Soulstone now provides more benefits – especially health points.
Changes in the shop – New bundles and price reductions
As usual, the latest patch also brings numerous package offers to the shop, mostly a hero in connection with a specific mount.
Bargain hunters with a lot of gold can look forward to: Chen and Tyrael will be reduced in both gold and real money price. The warrior Pandaren now costs only 7,000 gold coins, while the celestial champion costs only a measly 4,000 gold. Those looking for cheap warriors should strike now (Ha, pun!).
Who has the wooden PC?
For me, the best change is the fact that you now get information about other players during loading screens. This way you can see their selected portrait (and finally show off with it!) as well as their progress in loading the map. From now on, there are no more riddles about who has the wooden PC or whose hamster hasn’t been fed again…
When exactly the patch will be released is still uncertain. However, since Lt. Morales is supposed to be released on October 6 according to data miners, a release of the update this week is likely.
