The latest hero from Heroes of the Storm, the support hero Auriel, is live today.
Revivals on the battlefield with Auriel
After a long wait, the latest hero from Blizzard’s Heroes of the Storm has arrived on the live servers. Auriel enters the Nexus and brings a whole range of abilities from the Diablo universe. As a member of the Angiris Council, she possesses the unique ability to bring dead players back to life. Alternatively, she can encase herself or allies in a crystal that explodes after a short time.
In line with the release of the angelic woman, let’s take a look at her abilities:
- Her trait is Source of Hope, which is cast on an ally. As long as the ally remains near Auriel, the ally’s attacks energize Auriel, which can then be used for “Heavenly Beam”.
- Blessed Swing damages all enemies in a cone-shaped area. Targets in the center of the cone take double damage.
- Her healing ability is Heavenly Beam, which consumes all accumulated energy and heals nearby allies.
- Revenant Strike deals damage to the first hero hit and knocks them back. If the target collides with a wall, they take double damage and are stunned for 1.25 seconds.
- Her first heroic ability is Crystal Aegis. An ally is put in stasis for 2 seconds. Once the effect ends, all nearby enemies take heavy damage.
- The second heroic ability is Resurrection. Auriel summons the spirit of a fallen ally over 3 seconds and revives them with 50% of their health.
Auriel currently costs 15,000 gold coins. Those not willing to pay this amount can wait a few weeks, then the price of new heroes will be reduced by 5,000 gold coins. Alternatively, you can unlock her with real money for €9.99.
