A vigilant viewer has noticed an unplanned leak. Heroes of the Storm might soon get two characters who both have a thing for dragons.
The next hero of Heroes of the Storm will be Kel’Thuzad – this has been known since Gamescom. However, the next heroes of Blizzard’s MOBA also seem to have unintentionally come to light.
Blizzard had released a YouTube series titled “Resurrecting Kel’Thuzad” in which the developers explained in detail how a new character for Heroes of the Storm is actually created. It included plenty of insights into the development process of the next hero – but also a few unexpected images.
On Reddit, the user Spellethur noticed a particular detail during a scene. A rough “plan” is shown on a screen in the video regarding the future of Heroes of the Storm.
Despite the blurry image quality, the names are distinctly recognizable: Hanzo and Alexstrasza.
What’s interesting is that both heroes have a “dragon” theme. Hanzo famously uses his “Spirit-Dragon” to shoot devastating arrows, and Alexstrasza is one of the most powerful dragons that ever existed – the Life-Binder.
Whether these two heroes are indeed next in line, we will probably find out in the weeks following the release of Kel’Thuzad.
The best part about this little “leak”? We can all look forward to hating the “Hanzo mains” in more than one game now.
