Blizzard has released another small preview video to showcase the heroes, skins, and mounts currently in development for Heroes of the Storm. In line with the theme of the Eternal Conflict, all objects are either demonic, divine, or quite medieval.
Diablo, the Lord of Heaven!?
Especially the Archangel Diablo should be able to convince: The former Lord of Terror has turned his back on Hell and returns from Heaven with golden armor, a halo, and new special effects. Also, the new hero Butcher is showcased, along with his Master Skin and the premium variant “Iron Butcher,” which clearly reminds of the Forge of the Iron Horde from World of Warcraft.
The Skeleton King Leoric is also getting an alternate appearance from the Warcraft universe: For the right amount of gold, you can dress him in the seaweed attire of a Vrykul.
Even Blizzard heroes do some cosplay.
Lastly, the popular assassin Nova gets another outfit for her wardrobe: The futuristic weaponry of a Ghost special unit is set aside and exchanged for the medieval attire of an Amazone. Instead of a sniper rifle, she now uses a crossbow, similar to Valla.
Apart from the skins, there will also be new mounts: “Tyrael’s Charger” and the “Butcher’s Battle Beast,” which will presumably be available for purchase either individually or in a bundle with other skins.
