The beta version of Harry Potter: Wizards Unite has launched in New Zealand. Gameplay of the game is already being uploaded. We show you a selection of it.
Here you can play Wizards Unite: So far, the game can only be played by the makers of Pokémon GO in New Zealand.
In Germany, you can download the APK file, but you cannot initiate any interactions here yet.
However, to give you a taste of the game, we show you some gameplay from players in New Zealand.

This is shown in a video: There are already several videos about Wizards Unite on YouTube. Below we have embedded a video for you in which many features are briefly shown:
You can see how the player visits the so-called “Inns” to strengthen themselves. These places will definitely have different names in German, but there is currently no translation as the game is only in English.
Additionally, you can see several magical encounters that the player must master. They must trace a spell with their finger for it to be cast effectively.
Throughout the gameplay, you hear the music that you already know from the Harry Potter films.
It reminds of Pokémon GO: Everywhere on the map, you can see special places that you can visit. This is very reminiscent of Pokémon GO where PokéStops and gyms are everywhere.
When can we test in Germany? A beta for Germany has not been announced yet. However, it is quite possible that you will soon be able to test the game here as well.
The developers see this beta as a testing phase so that they can identify and fix any errors before the release. They are also hoping for feedback from the player community.
