Fortnite: Battle Royale is taking place soon in real life. Because at Christmas, several toy manufacturers have special Fortnite toys on offer. However, you should definitely not put one of these under the tree for your little ones!
Fortnite is extremely popular among kids and teens. The colorful battle royale shooter is simply well received. Therefore, Epic’s next step is only logical: to market officially licensed Fortnite stuff as toys for Christmas.
These Fortnite toys will be available for the Christmas season
The Fortnite action figures: Coming soon from toy manufacturer McFarlane Toys is a series of Fortnite action figures. They are elaborately designed and measure 7 inches tall. That’s about 17 centimeters.
The first series of action figures features a range of rare and coveted skins from Fortnite:
- The legendary Black Knight from the first Battle Pass of Fortnite.
- The previously more legendary Skull Trooper, which is now really everywhere
- The iconic skin Raptor with his shovel
- The delightfully silly Cuddle Team Leader with the unicorn pickaxe!
What does it cost? The toys are currently available for pre-order in the USA for $24.99. When we know something about the Euro price, we will let you know here.
The Fortnite Nerf blaster: If you prefer something more tangible, grab the first official NERF blaster in Fortnite style. It is a bright yellow replica of the legendary SCAR weapon from the game. This assault rifle is still extremely popular and reliable.
The NERF version is likely to be just as impressive, as it is a fully automatic weapon with an electric motor. You can fire the standard magazine of 10 foam darts at record speed.
However, the blaster will not be available until June 2019 and will be the first of several Fortnite NERF blasters.
Toys you should not put under the tree for your kids!
The realistic unicorn pickaxe: The last currently known Fortnite toy is a replica of the legendary pickaxe “Rainbow Smash,” a reference to the name Rainbow Dash from the series My Little Pony.
The pickaxe belongs to the set of the popular color bomber in the game and will be available soon for $50. The pickaxe measures 99 centimeters in length and looks quite massive.
So those who want to ensure that their Christmas is a total disaster should definitely put this toy under the tree. Especially when a completely Fortnite-obsessed child tries to “harvest” the Christmas tree, it should be clear why this is not a good idea.
Just imagine what else could break when equipping children with meter-long melee weapons. The usefulness of such a gift for Christmas is therefore rather questionable.
Those who do not have children can surely impress with the pickaxe in the display case.
