Who is that? Kaisel appears in the “Demon Castle” arc, a multi-story high-rank dungeon full of demons. There, Jin-Woo faces the final boss Baran, a monarch and one of the most powerful opponents he has encountered up to that point.
Kaisel is a large, fearsome dragon and the companion of Baran. After Baran’s defeat, Jin-Woo manages to incorporate Kaisel into his shadow army. Since then, he serves him as a personal mount in the air and as a powerful weapon in battle.
Why is he so strong? Even though Kaisel doesn’t shine in direct combat, he is crucial for quick movements, aerial attacks, and transport. His size, speed, and ability for aerial combat make him tactically valuable, especially in open areas or when Jin-Woo needs to move quickly between fronts.
In the “Jeju Island” arc, Kaisel impressively demonstrates his strength when he rises into the sky at Jin-Woo’s command and eliminates the flying ants trying to escape to the mainland. This ensures that the evacuation of the S-rank hunters proceeds safely and prevents any further chaos.
The next season of Solo Leveling is already eagerly anticipated – but fans will have to wait a little longer. In the meantime, there was hope that a new anime could follow in similar footsteps.
