Rank 3: Fulgrim
The Primarch of the Emperor’s Children is primarily someone who enjoys the “beautiful” things and is regarded as a perfectionist – yet for this very reason, he is also considered perhaps the best duelist among the Primarchs.
In battle, Fulgrim relies on speed and precision, which is particularly a strong tactic in physical duels with weapons. Added to this is a special weapon: the Silver Sword of Laer, which is infused with the essence of a daemon of Slaanesh.
With this combination, Fulgrim was able to kill his beloved brother Ferrus Manus and grievously wound Roboute Guilliman, who had to be put in stasis for ten thousand years and still suffers from the wound today.
Since his ascendance to Daemon Prince of Slaanesh, Fulgrim’s strength in dueling has only further increased. Slaanesh is known for preferring swift attacks, so his blessing complements Fulgrim’s fighting style.
Fulgrim’s greatest weakness is his vanity, which Slaanesh loves to indulge in. He is especially susceptible to humiliation and seduction, making it quite possible to distract him from a fight with promises of excess and personal gratification. His fate is still quite merciful for someone who has caught Slaanesh’s favor: A traitor in Warhammer 40,000 is constantly resurrected because his death is far too amusing for a god.
