Rank 7: Konrad Curze
Before his fall, Konrad Curze was considered one of the best fighters among all the Primarchs. He was considered not only the most brutal but also the most unpredictable of all the Primarchs and – unlike Alpharius Omegon – not in a positive sense.
However, Curze did not only have an advantage in battle through physical strength, but also through his psychic gift of being able to see into the future, albeit limited. Here, however, he almost always only saw the worst of all possibilities.
Konrad Curze actually has the potential for one of the top spots on this list, but he was ultimately overwhelmed by madness, accompanied by a death wish. This is a significant drawback in evaluating his combat strength.
The Night Lords apparently play a role in Dark Heresy:
One of Curze’s greatest strengths in battle is his brutality; he primarily uses fear and terror – something that makes his Night Lords the weakest traitor legion. Curze fights unfairly and relies on psychological warfare.
Against “normal” opponents, this may be helpful, but other Primarchs can easily adjust to his fighting style and defeat him, as it has happened (multiple times) with Lion El’Jonson.
