Fjord is a strong and somewhat taciturn guy who tends to keep a cool head and make rational decisions. However, as long as he does not have to compromise his principles of honor, he is willing to break rules when necessary – making him perfect for a group like the Mighty Nein.
He grew up as an orphan in an orphanage, where he did not have a good childhood due to his appearance, his otherness, and the resulting bullying from other children. However, he later became part of a ship’s crew and was involved with a strange unknown power he wishes to learn more about.
Fjord can change his voice but also his appearance magically, which plays perfectly into his hands during deception maneuvers. Since he is essentially an honest and honorable person, this approach, however, requires a little encouragement from the others.
What first appears to be a stoic brute hides a versatile and honorable comrade who is always ready to stand up for others and maintains an admirable attitude.
