Astrologer (Final Fantasy XIV)
What is this? Astrologers are one of the three healer jobs in Final Fantasy XIV, introduced with the Heavensward expansion. Astrologers draw their power directly from the stars and can even predict the future.
What is cool about the Astrologer? The special thing about him is his deck of cards, from which he can randomly draw various cards during combat. The cards of the High Arcana grant the Astrologer different abilities that can support himself or the group. “Libra” grants the character a damage boost, while “Cup” regenerates mana.
However, if the drawn card cannot be used, the deck can be reshuffled or the card can be transformed into a useful passive effect that will influence the effect of the next card.
