Ritualist (Guild Wars 1)
What is this? The Ritualist is a spirit summoner and can use these both offensively and defensively. Additionally, he can carry the ashes of the deceased to support the group with their help.
Why is this class cool? The Ritualist is versatile and has a completely unique playstyle. Particularly through holding the urn, which prevents him from accessing his weapon, a unique element is introduced to the class. His spirits are stationary, but with the right skills, he can also summon them from a great distance.
Dervish (Guild Wars 1)
What is this? Dervishes are holy warriors who can hit multiple enemies at once with their scythe. They wear robes and embody both the priest and the warrior. Thus, they remain more mobile than their armored friends.
Why is this class cool? Dervishes pray to gods and thus receive their strength. They can transform into avatars of the deities, making them stronger. They are also capable of casting effective spells in melee combat, thereby disrupting opponents. By applying and removing buffs, they unleash unique effects.
Mesmer (Guild Wars 1 & 2)
What is this? The Mesmer thrives on illusions, deceptions, and interruptions. While in Guild Wars 1 he was responsible for punishing enemy skills, in the successor Guild Wars 2 he is more focused on his clones.
Why is this class cool? It’s difficult to determine which Mesmer is the real one. If the player plays skillfully or uses invisibility at the right time, no opponent can follow him. As a Chronomancer, he also has the special ability to manipulate the time durations of skills and thus help his teammates.
Engineer (Guild Wars 2)
What is this? Engineers are interested in any technical gadget. They use turrets, grenades, and bombs to assert themselves against their opponents.
Why is this class cool? No other class plays with as many different weapon kits. So toolbelts, elixir guns, or a flamethrower can be equipped, making this class very versatile. If you don’t like stationary turrets, you can also rely on the mobile gyroscopes.
Assassin (Guild Wars 1)
What is this? Assassins are stealthy murderers armed with daggers. Their speed allows them to surprise and overwhelm opponents before they can even react.
Why is this class cool? Assassins have chain skills that end in especially deadly attacks. Additionally, it’s fun to dash at the enemy with shadow steps and stab them from behind. The teleport skills can also be used to escape from a fight.
