Release: When is Season 2 coming out?
The 2nd season of Hell’s Paradise will premiere in the Winter Season 2026. The first episode will air in January 2026. The exact date will likely be revealed in the coming weeks.
Trailer: Is there a preview of the anime yet?
Currently, there is unfortunately only a Japanese trailer without subtitles. Here we see how things continue with Gabimaru and the other criminals. There are further encounters with the divine beings and a new enemy group arriving on the island.
Streaming Service: Where can I watch the anime?
According to an announcement, the 2nd season will be available on Prime Video and Netflix, at least in Japan (to be seen on X). It is unclear if this will also be the case in Germany. However, Season 1 is also available on Prime Video and Netflix, so a release here is likely.
For Germany, we only know that the anime will definitely be available on Crunchyroll.
Story: What happens in the anime?
In Season 1, the Island Arc and part of the Lord Tensen Arcs were covered, so it will continue with the battles against Lord Tensen. After that, we will see the experiences from the Horai Arc:
- Protagonist Gabimaru lost his memory at the end of Season 1. He is no longer sure if his wife really existed.
- New enemies appear and the origins of the Tensen and the elixir of eternal life will be further explored.
- The characters deepen their understanding of Tao and develop it further to defeat the Tensen.
- Another expedition unit also appears on the island.
Dubbing: In what language will Season 2 be available?
The anime will be aired in simulcast on the release day. This means that it will be broadcast shortly after the release in Japan – in the original Japanese audio. The German dubbing will likely be added later. The dubbing for Season 1 is already available on Crunchyroll.
Another anime that will almost simultaneously premiere is the 3rd season of Jujutsu Kaisen. Fans can expect a gigantic Battle Royale, where protagonist Yuji Itadori must also fear for his life.
